Imagine a computer system you could attach to your body, not only could this computer determine the origin of your bodies' illnesses and imbalances, but it would be able to recommend the appropriate healing techniques and remedies specific to your bodies needs. Furthermore, this computer would prioritize your body’s needs in order of importance, effectively enabling you to trace your footsteps back to the state of perfect health. Now, imagine that this computer exists as your body and you can begin to comprehend what kinesiology is all about.
Kinesiology is a bioenergetic feedback system that uses muscle testing to measure changes in electrical resistance of that body. Bioenergetic testing allows the practitioner to quickly and accurately conduct an interview with any of the bodies organs or tissue and energetically evaluate their conditions. This type of non-evasive testing can determine the bodies electrical reaction to many stress producing substances and influences of modern living-form allergies: heavy metals, drugs and other chemical toxicities, to vitamins and mineral deficiencies. Kinesiology procedures can detect
1. What is causing the stress
2. What will eliminate the stress
3. Test the effectiveness of a proposed therapy
4. Monitor the progress of the recommended theory
When used in conjunction with other tools such as physical examination, x-rays, body scans, and conventional lab tests, the knowledge use of Kinesiology provides a way to communicate with the body and investigate its core level health problems. Kinesiology employs a combination of several therapies- including homeopathy, nutrition, accupressure, chiropractic, and physical therapy. It is an organized system that allows the practitioner to apply all available knowledge. This is what makes kinesiology so unique and effective.
Kinesiologists maintain there is no single technique that will be effective all of the time. Only a right time to apply an appropriate technique or remedy.
Examples of Kinesiology: When a car breaks down on the side of the road because it has run out of gas, you don't change the spark plugs. No, you simply get more gas. The same is true for our bodies- you don't do physical therapy when the core problem is vitamin deficiency on a chemical level. You don't treat on an emotional level if the core problem is a herniated disc on a physical level.
Evolution of Kinesiology: Kinesiology has continued to evolve because there is not one system to solve all health problems. Applied Kinesiology (A.K.) was founded in the 1960's by Dr. George Goodheart. Clinical Kinesiology (C.K.) was developed in the 1970's by Dr. Allen Beardall, Dr. Rene Espy introduced body integration (B.I.) and Dr. Milton Dowty introduced Chiro + Kinesiology (CPK) in the 1980's. In the 1990's Dr. Roy Martina introduced Vega Bio-Kinesiology (V.B.K) which compliments the above mentioned systems.
On top of Chiropractic and Kinesiology, Rinaldi Pain and Stress Center also offers Massage Therapy.
